Weekday Pennant Finals

The Weekday Pennant final was held at Drouin Golf Club in mild conditions. It was a well fought out contest. It all came down to players 1 and 2 to see who won. Players 1 finished on the 18th while players 2 headed down the 19th hole , like Rory McElroy. Congratulations to Warragul B , winning 4/1. These women were so encouraging to each other. Its great to see such sportsmanship.

Attached are the official rules, final draw and tee allocations for Womens pennant this year.

There are a few changes from what you have previously received so please use these going forward.

Following a request from the Ladies Captain, 4 Ladies teams from Warragul, Traralgon, Garfield and an Allies Team will be joining H2 in a trial this year. You will note their addition in both the H2 fixture and H2 Tee allocations. Because we have only 6 teams in H2, it was possible to add these 4 by 5 per team. You will notice we still have a 2 ball in the men's competition and that has been moved to the outside of the field to give them a bit of free air(if only a couple of holes).

There are breaks for Labour Day weekend 9 Mar, Easter 20 Apr (between semi's and finals), and a week off in scratch 30th Mar due to course availability options.

As per last year we request the course managers ensure the results sheets are passed to me as soon as possible via email either PDF's or high resolution photos, so that results can be published on facebook and WEB on the night of competition.
