IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO GOLF WEST GIPPSLAND CLUBS March 18th 2020 – the changing world of Coronavirus.

Golf West Gippsland has been advised by Golf Australia, that all events involving golfers participating across Clubs such as Open Days, Bowls, Plates, Charity Days, Tournaments and Championships must not be held EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

Club competition golf can continue at each Golf Club with the guidance advice about social distancing and hygiene practices already provided.

Therefore, GWG Men’s Pennant last round and Finals – March 22^nd and 29^th is SUSPENDED to a date to be fixed.  Match and Play will keep Clubs and Pennant Captains informed as to the rescheduling of this competition.

Women’s Pennant will now NOT COMMENCE on Monday March 23^rd.  This reverses the notification earlier today.

Match and Play will keep Delegates informed about possibility of rescheduling this competition for later in the year.

All forthcoming GWG District Events are suspended until further notice.

These measures are for the safety and well-being of all Golf West Gippsland golfers.
