If it’s not Covid, then it must be the Weather.

Drouin Golf Club has been forced to postpone it’s Gerry Butler Plate due to have been held this Sunday.

Because of the continuing wet November – there’s already been more than the monthly average, the Club has opted to postpone to early 2022. The date will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Club Director and organiser for the Gerry Butler Plate, Jim Bransgrove said that while the course would be playable on Sunday, motorised transport would not be available and the forecast is for more rain. Overall conditions would not be conducive to an enjoyable day.

But all is not lost for November.

The Trafalgar Plate is on Sunday 22, and Moe’s Ben Boon Plate on Sunday 29 (Click here for the entry form).

And on Sunday December 12, Garfield will be holding its annual David Bull Open Mixed Foursomes. (Click here for the entry form).
