For the 2nd year running, Golf Australia has been forced to cancel Country Week.
And GWG has been forced to cancel the planned Country Week Fundraising Competition planned for August 29.
The fundraising would also have seen the launch of three new competitions to honour three GWG Life Members:
- Allan Graham Perpetual Trophy Mixed 4BBB Stableford
- June Woznica Perpetual Trophy Women’s 4BBB Stableford
- Paul Wheeler Perpetual Trophy Men’s 4BBB Stableford
However, with so many of our golfers presently locked down in metropolitan Melbourne and the threat that regional Victoria may join them at anytime, the GWG Board has decided not to run the event this year.
